Hajj is the fifth pillar of Islam. It is a necessary religious commitment for Muslims that must be performed once their lifetimes by each and every Muslim who are physically and financially equipped to attempt the journey.
First day of Hajj:
Firstly take a bath or make Wadhu then put on Hajj Ihram and pray two Rakat nafl prayer then proclaim the Niyah for Hajj and recite Talibiyah 3 times, Now your obligations under Ihram begins after this leave for Mina before Zohr and recite Talibiyah frequently then Pray Zohr, Asr, Maghrib, Isha in Mina and stay overnight in Mina. The first day of Hajj is complete.
Day 2nd of Hajj:
After praying fajr, go to Arafat and pray Zohr and Asr after sunset go to Muzdalifah and pray Maghrib and Isha together then pick up across 70 pebbles and stay overnight in Muzdalifah
Day 3rd of Hajj:
Pray Fajr in Muzdalifah after sunrise go to Mina and throw 7 pebbles at Jamrah Al-Aqaba then do Qurbani (Hajj) Sacrifice animal and have your hair cut or shaved, Now take off your Ihraam and go to Masjid Al-Haram in Makkah to perform Tawaf-e-Ziyarah two Rakat near Muqam-e-Ibraheem after that drink Zam Zam water then you have to perform Safa and Marwah and soon after this you have to leave from Makkah. The third day of Hajj is completed.
Day 4th of Hajj:
You are in Mina after Zawal go to all three Jamarat and throw 7 pebbles at 3 Jamarat each. Stay in Mina for Ibadat. The fourth day of Hajj is completed.
Day 5th of Hajj:
You are in Mina after Zawal go to all three Jamarat and throw 7 pebbles at 3 Jamarat each. You have to leave Mina before fajar time begins then perform Tawaf Al-Wida. Leave Makkah Hajj is completed.
To facilitate pilgrims and to make their journey easier the I.T department of Dawat-e-Islami has developed a mobile application named as “Hajj and Umrah” so you can perform these two significant acts of worship in a prescribed manner.
